Rock - A - Doodle (1991) is a movie Elin has been talking about for months and months but did not know the name. Of course no one could help her since they all are a bit slow... haha na not really! but Elin started to begin to think she had dreamt it but then she talked to her brother who also recognize the plot so she was not crazy... well not more crazy than usual.
The story is about a rooster called Chanticleer who after a fight believes that he can no longer rise the sun. So he left his farm depressed, hurt and ashamed to go work in the big city.
Edmond, a little boy who gets turned to a cat when a big owl called Grand Duke cast a spell over him. It is also Grand Dukes fault that Chanticleer left the farm and the consequence of him leaving where nonstop rain and no sun. So Edmond meets up with some animals from the farm who is going to the city to find him.
There is this character called Goldie whose voice we thought we recognized and in the after text Emelie goes like this... "Oh OH OOOOH, it is her from Pushing Daisies you know the one without the eye... patch." then I was like "AAh fuck awesome... I first though it was Jennifer Tilly (scary thought)".
Did we mention it is a cartoon movie? no? well It is.
Emelie gives this one a 6.5/10 and Elin gives it a 8/10 since it was her favorite movie when she was younger... A bit nostalgi.
