Girl Interrupted (1999)

So who haven't seen this movie? the ones who haven't... shame on you!

The movie's about Susanna (Winona Ryder), a girl with a borderline disorder who finds herself in a mental institution. There she meets Lisa (Angelina Jolie) a sociopath who has a tendency of messing with people and playing with her stuffed cat.
Georgia, a pathological liar with a love for 'The Wizard of Oz' and we love her because she's played by Clea Duvall.
We also have Torch (aka Polly) a girl stuck in a childhood trauma after setting herself on fire, hens the name.
And last but not least we have Daisy (Brittany Murphy) who only can eat her father’s chicken and is addicted to laxatives.
We get to follow their ups and downs during Susanna’s time in the institution.

The movie's based on Susanna Keysen’s real life, there the name of the main character who also is named Susanna Keysen.
It's a strong, emotional and addictive story to follow. When you've started you can't relax until it's over.
You may find yourself crying, we know we did.

This movie gets a solid 9/10.
It's our favorite movie. This one and Disco Pigs, The Decent and D.E.B.S.
