Fucking Åmål (1998)

Is about Elin (Alexandra Dahlström), a hot young girl in Sweden (No not our Elin, but they do have some similarities). Well Agnes is a dorky 16 year old girl who likes to write love messages to Elin, but Elin never seems to get them.

Now to the official review.
Agnes (Rebecka Liljeborg), loves Elin. Elin loves herself until she starts to notice Agnes who NEVER stalk her. During Agens very successful 16th birthday party she gets a kiss from Elin (though it's a dare between Elin and her sister Jessica). But the night ends in success since Elin wants to apologize and borrow the toilet at Agnes house. They plan to run away to Stockholm so that Agnes can get a girlfriend, but end up snogging in the backseat of a car. The driver thinks he's on 'Candid Camera' and throws them out.
As you might know or have figured out. This is a love story. With complications. But what love story isn't?

We had much fun watching this movie. Especially since Elin (ours) knew all the monologues and lines in the movie. So Emelie never had to think before she listened.
Elin has not seen this movie before, ABSOLUTLEY NOT. She has not read the script, she has not acted out the whole movie with her gay friend Henrik. She has NOT dreamt she was Agnes but called Elin so that Elin and Elin could date and make little Elins.
This is starting to get crazy.
We easily give this movie a 10/10, since it's nostalgic, genius and pure ecstasy.
The acting is not soup opera acting which most Swedish movies tend to be. Awesomely funny and genius lines. Especially from Elin (both). Ooooh and the soundtrack is WOW...
