The Incredibly True Adventure of Two Girls in Love

The Incredibly True Adventure of Two Girls in Love (1995)

Okey the movie who have a way to long title, but still very effective is a very trueish and believable story about Randy (Laurel Holloman) and Wendy (Maggie Moore)who after some circumstances fall in love.
It's in the mid 90s and it weren't easy to be homosexual, which Randy knew way too well. And Wendy who's black and discovers she's gay too get's it a lot harder as she have to face both the racism and prejudice against gay people.
The plot's nice and easy going. It's very likable as long as you're not a homo fob or something similar.
It brings up all these serious questions of society, well maybe not all, but a lot in a way or two.

Another thing that's really nice with the movie is all the different and unexpected angles it's shoot from.
It's a bit like a music video.
The acting is also surprisingly good since it's a indie flick with the now famous actress Laurel Holloman.
It's both Halloman and Moore's first movie, it doesn't show.

We give it a 7/10
