The Fine Art of Love: Mine Ha-Ha

The Fine Art of Love: Mine Ha-Ha (2005)

Is a movie that I had some problems getting a grip on. Sure it was good but it could have been so much better.

The story is about a girls collage in the early 20th century in Germany. All the girls who goes to the school has grown up there, some before they even could walk or talk. They are being drilled to be ballet dancers and lives a very sheltered and strict life. They have not been of the grounds of the school since they first came there, there own world.
But when some starts to question why hand how they ended up at the school things start to happened.
The main character is Hidalla and her friend/girlfriend Irene who is in the middle of all the stuff that is going on. There close relationship is getting tested by the conditions.

I honestly though the story where a bit fussy, that is why the summon up of the story might be a bit hard to understand.
As I said the movie where good but could have been A Lot better if it would have been more precise on what it wanted.
All the acting is good and believable as for the environment and so on. It was all good but the fussy story line.

I'll give it a 6/10, but it could have gotten a 7 or 8 if only for some small changes and so on.

One thing I liked where that they did not do the relationship between the girls sleazy or so. It where more focused on the things around them and how that effected them and there actions.

- Elin, tired and now I'm going to bed... long day tomorrow with movies and pizza.
